Safety in an urban environment - this is the topic of the European Cities Conference (ECC) held on 24th and 25th October. Experts from Vienna and its neighbour cities are discussing the meaning and importance of "Interconnected help", a safety network for the inhabitants of European cities.

At the event, certified helpers who are the performers of the life safety network are presenting their experiences: those from the city administration, as well as field professionals, whether it is the police or the Red Cross or volunteers. Highly important issues, such as raising awareness and prevention, are discussed prior to the Vienna Security Festival, too.
