Vienna Science Days

The Vienna Science Days bring together representatives of the city administrations of Vienna as well as the international dialogue cities with outstanding researchers from leading universities to discuss the pressing challenges of urban development. Three events are held each year, each consisting of a Science Day and a Vienna Day.

The conferences create an inspiring platform for the exchange of ideas and the development of solutions that drive sustainability and innovation in urban environments. The Vienna Science Days continue the successful tradition of the Vienna Days, which have been an excellent networking opportunity for experts from Vienna and the dialogue cities since 2016.

The next Vienna Science Days will take place in Krakow from 30 November to 1 December 2023. The focus will be on the topics of adaptation to climate change, respectful coexistence in city administration, green smart city/village and artificial intelligence.
