City of Vienna | International Offices – Budapest

Between Vienna and Budapest there is a permanent cooperation agreement since 2002. The focus is on the topics municipal companies, environmental protection and animal welfare, city marketing and bicycle traffic. There is also a collaboration in the field of crisis management. Because the Danube is the main river in both cities they are also participants in the European strategy for the Danube Region.
